ABOUT THE FILM
In the not-so-distant future, the vast majority of earth's population has evacuated our dying planet and relocated to Orpheus, a new world on the far side of the galaxy. Only a handful of people remain, left behind to struggle for existence on a nearly-empty homeworld.
Claire, a post-evacuation survivor, is a young mother determined to find a way for her family to adapt to life on earth now that society has collapsed and only the strong survive. But everything changes when she meets Jonah, another survivor. He offers Claire's family one last chance to leave earth and join the rest of humanity on Orpheus, but his offer comes with a significant risk.
The film was written and directed by Eric Haywood (Power, Empire). It stars Grace Byers (Empire, The Gifted), Loretta Devine (Waiting to Exhale, Grey's Anatomy), Jack Coleman (Heroes, Scandal), Jalyn Hall (All-American), and Anthony Mendez (Jane the Virgin).
